What I have been reading - 13th May 2022

Here’s what I enjoyed reading over the last week:

Good Enough: My Mum introduced me to the concept of 'good enough' a long time ago and it stuck with me. We are not perfect and we don't have to be, in any part of our life.

You Were Right About COVID, and Then You Weren't: A reminder that intellectual humility always matters. "Don't let your ideas become part of your identity."

Why pessimism sounds smart: Optimism is the only realism, driven by what this author calls 'human agency'. I would go a step further than this author and point out that equities are the only asset class that fully captures human agency.

A Few Beliefs: A few great sentences from one of the world's great thinkers.

The Normie's Guide to This Week's Crypto Crash: If you are wondering what has gone on in the crytpo market, this explains is pretty well.

Some Things I'm Not Going to Regret in 20 Years: I like this list from Ben Carlson.

9-Chart Wednesday: Charlie Bilello does a wonderful job of summarising what is going on with his charts.

FINALLY:
'Enforced childbirth is slavery': Margaret Atwood on the right to abortion: Whatever side of the fence you sit on, this is a thought-provoking read. What is going on in the US has major implications for women in Cayman too.

ENJOY!
