What we have been reading - 3rd February 2023

Here's a selection of articles that we enjoyed reading recently:

The Great Contemplation: I am a big Tim Ferris fan and enjoyed this take.

Notes from the inner sanctum:  A commentators thoughts on Davos. Interesting, particularly when you reference the previous article.

Not Pictured:  A wonderful article on what life is REALLY like. It makes me think of our week long boat cruise down the Thames last summer - beautiful beautiful until our youngest swallowed some Thames water and spent the next 12 hours being violently sick inside a small boat cabin (I didn't show that in the pictures).

Give the Gift of Time:  I read this after writing my 'What Money CAN buy' blog and it made me rethink the 'ability to help and give' bit.

Stock, Bond and Cash returns over the past 95 years: A simple of reminder of why we invest in companies.

11 Things That 0% Interest Rates Caused:  This article is pretty spot on (sadly for a lot of people).

Surviving Market Inflection Points:  This author explains our philosophy beautifully.

FINALLY:
The Antidote to Envy: I really love the way Lawrence Yeo explains envy in this article. Very thought provoking. "People are like dogs chasing cars; they won't know what to do if they actually catch them."

ENJOY!
